Construction of a steam sterilization facility to treat waste from international flights. Project includes construction of a Boiler and Mechanical Room consisting of integrally colored load bearing reinforced CMU with a steel roof structure; a steam boiler plant including boiler feed-water system, automatic water softener system and blow-down tank with associated equipment and piping; electrical system for the steam boiler plant with lighting and power connections to mechanical equipment, including addition of a feeder serving the electrical system via an existing conduit back to the Terminal 3 building; plumbing system including grease interceptor, sample manhole and piping; two (2) gravity steam sterilizers with ten (10) stainless steel waste holding carts; one (1) hydraulic carriage-type cart tipper; sixteen (16) tilting dump carts; and site work including embankment, aggregate base, concrete pavement, four (4) inch wide trench drain, and associated items.
